Norwegian Indie Pop singer and songwriter, Girl In Red, is best known for her candid “bedroom-pop anthems and lyrics about romance and mental health.
Written from the comfort of her bedroom, her viral hit song, "I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend," quickly gained over 150 million song streams, and was listed at No. 9 on The New York Times’ list of Best Songs of 2018. Since 2018, Girl In Red has released two EP’s from her bedroom studio and quickly amassed over 7 million monthly streamers on Spotify.
In 2021, Girl In Red’s debut full-length album, if I could make it go quiet, debuted in the Top 10 in Norway, the U.K., and Australia, and reached the top half of the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. Named as a “Queer Icon” by Paper Magazine, Girl In Red has also completed 2 North American tours, 2 European tours, and has performed at festivals such as Lowlands, Rock en Seine and Øyafestivalen.
